Add PNG or other images
PNG is the main path. JPG, JPEG, WebP, and GIF are accepted in the same document.

Letter and A4 center the image with a margin. “Match image” follows the picture. You can also make one PDF per image.
- 3
Download the PDF
One document downloads directly. Separate PDFs download as a ZIP.
Good to know
A PDF is what a lot of forms, printers, and inboxes want, even when the source is a screenshot or a diagram saved as PNG. Each image becomes one page. PNG data is embedded, so you are not first crushing it into a low-quality JPEG.
Transparent pixels have nothing to show unless the page has a color behind them. This tool paints the page white, then draws the image, so a logo with a clear background stays crisp on white instead of disappearing on a transparent page. Page size matches JPG to PDF: US Letter, A4, or a page the shape of the image.
Frequently asked questions
Does PNG to PDF keep transparency?
The PNG is embedded, and the page behind it is white. Clear pixels show as white, which is what you want on paper and in most viewers. A fully clear logo does not float on a transparent sheet.
Will the PDF recompress my PNG?
PNG files are embedded as PNG. They are not converted to JPEG first, so hard edges and flat colors stay as they were. WebP and GIF are drawn to a PNG in the browser and then embedded.
Can I mix PNG and JPG in one PDF?
Yes. Order them in the list. Each file is one page.
Are the images uploaded?
No. pdf-lib builds the PDF in your browser. ToolSpruce does not receive the files.
