PNG keeps transparency. JPG and WebP use the quality slider. Download one file or a ZIP.
Good to know
Resize changes how many pixels the picture has. Crop throws away everything outside a rectangle you choose. Both happen on a canvas in your browser, so a photo for a form or a product listing does not need to pass through someone else’s server.
Aspect ratio stays locked unless you turn that off. Percent buttons scale every image the same way. Crop applies to the image you have selected; type the crop in pixels or drag the box. GIF files use the first frame. iPhone HEIC photos need the HEIC converter first.
Frequently asked questions
Will resizing stretch my photo?
Not while the aspect ratio is locked. Unlock it only if you really want a specific width and height that do not match the original shape.
Can I crop several images at once?
The crop box applies to the selected image, because each photo has its own subject. Resize mode does apply one scale or width to every file.
What is the largest size I can export?
8192 pixels on the longest side. Larger canvases are unreliable across browsers.
Does crop remove location data?
Yes. The new file is just the pixels you kept. Original metadata is not copied.
